Phaos is led by Bruno Mendes, PhD, whose career spans machine learning, statistical modelling and the physics of complex systems. For the European Space Agency, through our partner RDA in Zurich, he built deep-learning pipelines that raised the accuracy of locating radio interference in satellite images from about 85% to 97%. Earlier, he taught and researched Bayesian methods and uncertainty quantification at UC Santa Cruz. Phaos Consulting reflects his experience in turning rigorous mathematics into working products.
